St. Croix Economic Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization which operates exclusively for the economic development of St. Croix County, Wisconsin.
St. Croix EDC’s mission is to encourage cooperative economic development and capital investment, to enhance tax base, to create quality jobs, and to assist businesses in expansion, retention, and/or location within the area.
Activities that are reflective of the St. Croix EDC mission include:
**Identify important legislative issues and bring them to the attention of state and federal officials;
**The annual Businesses of the Year program;
**The St. Croix EDC’s website at www.stcroixedc.com with links to an inventory of available building and sites;
**The St. Croix EDC’s printed "Chronicle" newsletter and monthly e-newsletter "St. Croix Business Facts";
Partnering with organizations such as: The WI Department of Commerce, WI Entrepreneurs Network, Governor’s Business Council, Small Business Development Center, Wisconsin Business Development, West Central WI Regional Planning Commission, North West Manufacturing Outreach Center, Momentum West, West Central WI Rail Coalition, Workforce Resource, St Croix Valley Employers Association, St Croix Valley Regional Tourism Association, UW-Extension Office, Local Chamber of Commences, Local EDCs, UW-River Falls, WITC, CVTC, and more.
St. Croix EDC is the County's one-stop source for business assistance.
