In my opinion: - Many layoffs in last 2 years and no financial severence paid to any laid off employees who are left with only unemployment. - Total severence offered by Steady to laid off employees is to keep the old laptop you used for work and to be reimbursed 1 month of COBRA coverage if you can affort the several thousands of dollars to pay for it up front first. In return you are sworn to silence (NDA) about Steady's business practices and forbidden to say anything bad about the company even if it is 100% true. - Total lack of honest transparency - Lack of respect for employees time. - Profits for VC (lead by Michael Loeb and Loeb enterprises) over all else use/sell user data anyway you can, run down and burn through employees, there are seemingly no limits to protect the bottom line. - Required Employees to take a temporary 20% pay reduction (which they eventually paid back) to save the company and then they tossed those same employess in the trash when it served their financial interest. - No performance review or raise dispite solid positive feedback from supervisors. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 4.0 1.0 2.0 1947757 Open In my opinion: - Stop lying about being transparent. If you are honest with employees it will go a lot farther. I had many a discussions with employees who felt uncertain about working for Steady because they company could not be trusted. The smarter ones left before they could be ground up and spit out by the Steady machine. - Remeber when the board has fired something like the last 100-150 employees with no warning and with no financial severence they will do the same to you to when it serves the bottom line. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Open Apr 18th, 2024 02:52AM Apr 18th, 2024 02:52AM Steady

Two furloughs of over 50% headcount, which meant they were not required to pay severance (wild to pull that stunt in these times). private:steadyapp https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1947757 Feb 9th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Steady Human Resources Steady was Great! I had a great supervisor (HR Director), she was very understanding of life work balance and always available to answer questions which is something i really appreciate in a leader. they hire well, great employees, and they really want to take care of their employees (benefits kept getting better while I was there) I love start ups but with that comes chaos and not as organized as you may like. I understand that and am very easy going when it comes to change but just understand that Steady does go from one thing to another pretty fast and you have to keep up. I also hoped they would have better systems and processes in place, but again...something that comes with a start up...you have to just make the process as you go. And again that also did not bother me, just something to keep in mind 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 1947757 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Open Feb 11th, 2023 07:34AM Feb 11th, 2023 07:34AM Steady
