While there were a number of stores that provided quality recycled fashion, there was no one place that offered such a big variety – with a high level of quality control. Take 2 Markets has become Melbourne’s premier recycled fashion event. Stalls always book out and every market day is busy from opening until closing time. The markets are held in undercover venues that are easy to access and provide a comfortable shopping and selling experience. Women from all over Victoria have embraced our fun, affordable and environmentally friendly way of buying and selling quality women’s wear. We find that most women come regularly to the market. It is such a great way to top up your wardrobe, find something for a special event, have a fun day out with girlfriends or buy a gift (especially for that ‘hard to buy for’ friend!) In May 2010 Take 2 Markets won the coveted Business Innovation Award from the City of Boroondara & Rotary Club of Hawthorn. In June we were a finalist in the AusMumpreneurs Best Eco Friendly Business Category.
