You're your own manager. But that can be lonely. You must make over 5,000 for the year after taxes to receive even 1cent back in taxes. It isn't very well organized but you do get to know your city well. They should open it up to baristas/waitresses/ Hostess/ doormen/ valet. That would make a killing.

work day is a mix of meetings, email, monitoring live chat and answering phone calls. worst part of the job is Taskers treating you badly.

This app put so much stress on taskers with their rating policies

this company has not update their policies at all to make the platform overall stress free. They allow people to rate taskers even if they never met them.i had people that ask me if I can arrive at a time I was not available and gave me 1 star review when I told them.i was already booked for the time they're requesting. See when you get a 1 star review you are less likely to get hired when ya overall rating drops. This cause me to become depressed because I felt I could not do anything about it when I am rated unfairly.

Take it for what it is very part time

Task rabbit is good if you only want to do a job or two a week. Thats it thats the best way to go into this and im guessing in a lot of areas their may not be much work your going to have to be in a big city where more people use technology then the normal word of mouth. Yes customer service at tasker is a joke. Buy you can turn down any job and I have after telling customer to big a job for me and to find a pro she didnt like it because im guessing my rate was way lower then what she had been hearing. And like others have said when you tell customers its going to take maybe double the time tasker says they throw a fit. Again like others have said they think were just the cheap version of a skilled true handyman. I assemble furniture maybe hang a tv but im not going to replace breaker panel.

good money but app management dont care about taskers; only care about costumers and the ratting as well as the money they make from you!!!

. Rates are low compared to other handyman jobs. You can raise your rate, but you won't get many jobs. Software makes errors. Everything affects your metrics. Company won't remove these errors that kill your metrics. Takes a day for them to respond to any email. They don't like it if you live chat them.
If you can't or don't want to do a job it affects your metrics. Customers frequently mis-categorize jobs. ex: faucet replacement (plumbing) put into household repairs which pays less.
Some customers don't realize how long some jobs take.
ex: customer canceled without a word because I told her it would take all day instead of the 2-3 hours she thought.
