I was a graduate teaching assistant for part time. The compensation was good compare to the working hours and the time were flexible.

Web workers do not get paid enough for what is asked of them. There are times where the job seems stressful but the environment help alleviate the tension. Overall great place to work at.

Incompetent Human Resources Leadership

By far and away, this was the worst organization which I'd ever worked for in my entire life. Executive human resources leadership for Texas A&M (Kingsville site) was atrocious! How they even got promoted to where they're at currently is honestly incomprehensible to me. There were countless unethical things: blatant favoritism, ageism, nepotism, active discrimination against disabled candidates, unlawful s-e-x-u-a-l harassment, clear and obvious retaliation, flagrant breach of confidentiality, et cetera which occurred here virtually every single day at this particular site (Kingsville) of Texas A&M. To make matters worse, human resources leadership didn't do A SINGLE THING to address any of this unethical behavior. I should know firsthand, since I'd even brought some of these concerns to their attention several times, only to be told afterwards each and every single time: "there really isn't anything which we can do about this." What? Are we really serious right now? How can an educational institution such as this one attempt to actively promote its "strong sense of ethics and value which we place in our workforce", when its own human resources leadership is essentially sweeping serious ethical and legal issues under the carpet? Were it not for the human resources executive "leadership" here at Texas A&M Kingsville, perhaps my overall rating would be a 4 or maybe even higher. However, until this university's human resources leadership does finally get their act together, my overall rating for this workplace can only be a 1. And to be perfectly honest, my overall rating should actually be a 0 if that was even an option.
