Work Culture, great - managing needs improvement

I loved working here due to the feel of the place. They were pretty laxed about how you did your work, as long as you got it done.
I learned a lot about SEO while I worked here - skills that I have taken to other places, gotten paid more and became more valued at. I wouldn't recommend working here long-term, as they just don't have the desire to pay you for your work like you should be.
They did allow for there to be some fun at the job, and the co-workers made working here bearable. (I miss bookclub!)
The hardest part of the job was getting the motivation to actually work because you aren't paid fairly.
The best part of the job was my colleagues and manager of the SEO team.

Monthly meetings included free breakfast, winning prizes
|
pay was low, advancement was unachievable, the co-owner was a micromanager and didn't know what he was talking about half the time.

Work Culture and Diversity are Scarce!

During my tenure, TNT initially offered and seemed like a very good company. The Development Team is top tier and does amazing work. Graphic Designers are extremely talented and hardworking, as well as SEO, Facebook, Copyright, and some Account Managers.
The biggest downfall is leadership and ownership. Specifically, the Co-Owner who dictates the day to day operation of TNT Dental. Some of the experience myself and other former co-workers have experienced include: cursing, false accusations, micromanagement, lack of consistent accountability, uncheck bias, lies of compensation, zero respect for work-life balance, and unnecessary requests outside the range of job description.

Free occasional lunches, Medical, Dental, Vision), Bingo Game Friday, Equipment Stipend, Decent Office, Random gifts based on performance.
|
Racist comments go unchecked, Accusations of wrong doing are regular so document as much as possible, Company will not educate staff on diversity and inclusion, Zero to little employee development. Below average salary offers.

Job is never secure (management would even make jokes of firing people), and the pay is as minimal as they feel they can get away with. It’s much more stressful than it needs to be.

If you're looking to advance....good luck. It ain't happening. No collaboration during work hours, constant silence. Pretty sure nobody had any social skills outside of the sales team. Pretty bland place to work.
