As a newer business its normal to have a few issues, but rules change every day and people play favorites. A car wash really shouldn't be that stressful.

Overall great company. GM is only about themselves and numbers. If you have a good GM great place. Bad GM. Keep eyes open. Loves job. Hates GM. Tommy’s is structures but manager may work 25 hour a week.

The owners for the Delaware location are horrible
|
The owners expect leadership to spend their own money for the site and be reimbursed through the bi-weekly paychecks. The owners know nothing about the industry and pop in the site every couple of months antagonizing the crew with rudimentary questions. They solely focus on membership sales and neglect all of the other positives. The company is more worried about saving money than building a culture. They will attempt to underpay, get out of paying for appropriate repairs (they take the cheapest route causing more problems for the future). Ownership doesn’t give back to the community, even if it involves investing a few hundred dollars into their own student employee music program to keep it from being defunded. Tommys express the brand is a great brand and the Delaware locations are not a representation of those ideals. Worst ownership team I’ve seen in my life.

On your feet and doing multiple task but it’s laid back overall.
Some warnings;
Very Loud
May have to scoop nasty mud
Vacuum filters and trash can be gross
Overall it’s not terrible if you’re good on your feet for long periods of time.

Lots of support from the corporate side. Unfortunately you are at the mercy of the owner. I had poor ownership, you either did everything as they said or you were pushed out the door. They didn't want input, they didn't want feedback, they held team members back and they expect you to do everything for base pay.

Overall pretty positive environment and enjoyable shifts. The work can be very physically demanding though.

Workplace culture is fun. The job itself is enjoyable when you get used to it but also can require quite a bit physical effort. Training wasn’t too hard but definitely took some time to get used to.

Where I worked my coworkers were friendly, the pay was fair for what they asked of us. My location offered tuition reimbursement too, which was very cool to see.
