For more, check out our blog here.<br /><br />We’re currently hiring a Care Companion who will report into and work closely with our Operations Manager on the Totemic Care Concierge team. <strong>Care Companions are the most trusted advocates for our older adult users.</strong> As a Care Companion, your primary responsibility will be to interact with a panel of our adult users on a daily basis for various functions including new user on-boarding, daily check-ins, fall prevention coaching, connecting our older adults to local resources, conducting health surveys, collaborating with care team members, and technical support. <br /><br />Care Companions play a critical role in closing the loop between our users and their care management partners. He/she will be part of a core group that plays a direct role in determining company direction and ultimately the success of the product.</div><div><br /></div><div>The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematical foundation, particularly in probability and stochastic theory, with a significant know-how of at least one RF system or sensor (especially radar). He/she should be knowledgeable in state estimation and tracking techniques like Kalman Filters, and be adept at simulating these techniques in C or Python. Expertise in embedded device bring-up, implementation of algorithm under memory and compute constraints and a general comfortness handling HW are big pluses. The candidate will work on various phases of our product life-cycle (sensor bring-up, algorithm development, real-time implementation in embedded devices etc.), providing significant exposure to system level design. He/she will be part of a core group that plays a direct role in determining company direction and ultimately the success of the product.</div><div><br /></div><div>The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematical foundation, particularly in probability and stochastic theory, with a significant know-how of at least one RF system or sensor (especially radar). He/she should be knowledgeable in state estimation and tracking techniques like Kalman Filters, and be adept at simulating these techniques in C or Python. Expertise in embedded device bring-up, implementation of algorithm under memory and compute constraints and a general comfortness handling HW are big pluses. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast paced and highly collaborative work environment.</div><div><br /></div><div>Educational qualifications:</div><div>M.S. with 4+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 2+ years in Electrical Engineering</div><div><br /></div>
