Vanguard expects you to be in meetings for the majority of your day, come into the office 3 days a week, only to be a part of meetings that are a waste of time. You can get a substantial raise leaving to a competitor or a boutique firm. - too much focus on meaningless metrics as opposed to actually doing good work.
