<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Weedmaps is looking for a Senior Network Engineer whose primary responsibility will be to manage all aspects of computer and network systems to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient computer network. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links. Additional tasks are to collect operational and trend statistics and to analyze performance results. This position is expected to provide advanced technical support for issues that are escalated from the systems and helpdesk teams and is the top escalation point for all critical network related issues; training, mentoring and knowledge transfers to other team members are also expected. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To further assist our Legal Department, we are looking for a Compliance and Litigation Counsel to advise the Company on all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting its operations and businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for matters ranging from analysis of laws and regulations applicable to a technology company with domestic and international operations as well as analysis of applicable laws and regulations that apply to our customers. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our Legal Department takes an active role in guiding the direction and structure of our strategic initiatives and commercial arrangements. Additionally, because we offer software and SaaS solutions to businesses operating in a highly regulated and rapidly evolving industry, there is a constant need to ensure our products and services continue to evolve with the legal landscape. Accordingly, we are seeking a highly motivated self-starter with good business judgment who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment. In this challenging position, you will report to our Senior Compliance Counsel and our General Counsel and work closely with key executives, advising on an array of legal issues. Simply put, we are seeking a motivated attorney to help a rapidly growing company execute its business plan. </span></p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide advice and counsel to the Company on a wide range of compliance-related matters, including marijuana-related laws, advertising laws, data privacy and security laws, procurement and international sourcing laws, political laws, employment laws and general corporate compliance issues.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide advice and counsel to the Company and product team regarding new product offerings and functionalities in light of applicable laws.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with our Senior Compliance Counsel, our General Counsel and other Company stakeholders in the development of policies and procedures and specialized training programs designed to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work to develop SOPs and other procedure guides to ensure departmental compliance as well as establishing periodic audits of adherence to these procedures.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct research regarding legal and compliance issues affecting the Company’s businesses, translating complex laws and regulations into practical advice and solutions.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide advice and counsel to the Company on all matters relating to data privacy and security, including data of users, consumers, employees and third-parties, data privacy requirements for websites, social media, apps, connected products, e-commerce, customer relationship management and the Company’s various products and services, and all laws relating to data privacy and security in the various jurisdictions in which the Company operates, including the US, Canada and the EU.</span></li>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide advice and counsel to the Company on a wide range of compliance-related matters, including marijuana-related laws, advertising laws, data privacy and security laws, procurement and international sourcing laws, political laws, employment laws and general corporate compliance issues.</span></li>
