Was OK Workplace But Service Was Very Deficient

Casual, friendly, flexible, decent pay.
|
PPC service was second rate at a white glove price. Marchex, their PPC vendor, was nearly incompetent and their internal platform was awful.

They put TLC into the culture while I worked there to foster greater communication amongst teams, including two ping pong tables in the kitchen area (and company sponsored ping pong tournaments. ) They also nurtured a spirit of collaboration for a few years that included hackathons and company-wide happy hours.

1) Not very nimble when it came to developing new products fast and in-line with what the marketplace expected/demanded. 2) The brand hump of having formerly been the Yellow Pages was a huge barrier to entry for many advertisers. 3) Being a follower in the digital space (to sites like Google) was a problem. A big one.
