Only have to be there Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends previously, majority owned by a holding company whose goal was to cut bottom line to sell at a profit. Many jobs were cut, salaries were cut, customer service positions have gone overseas. Recently merged with Dex to form DexYp. private:yellowpages https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=562995 Mar 12th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open YP Not The Most Cutting Edge Company In the Digital Space They put TLC into the culture while I worked there to foster greater communication amongst teams, including two ping pong tables in the kitchen area (and company sponsored ping pong tournaments. ) They also nurtured a spirit of collaboration for a few years that included hackathons and company-wide happy hours. 1) Not very nimble when it came to developing new products fast and in-line with what the marketplace expected/demanded. 2) The brand hump of having formerly been the Yellow Pages was a huge barrier to entry for many advertisers. 3) Being a follower in the digital space (to sites like Google) was a problem.
