YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of eight YMCAs that offer life-changing programs for children, families and adults throughout Chester County, Pennsylvania.
MISSION: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy mind, body and spirit for all.
VISION: To be a catalyst for improving the quality of life and well-being for all in our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
CAUSE: To strengthen the foundations of our community.
We are a diverse community joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living and foster social responsibility.
With more than 80,000 members across Chester County, our programs and facilities are always based on the unique needs and interests of the communities we serve. In addition, our volunteers, staff, members and donors are all united by a deep commitment to continually strengthen Chester County.

YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of nine YMCAs that offer life-changing programs for children, families and adults throughout Chester County formed through a merger between the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley and the YMCA of the Upper Main Line.
Our Y is a diverse organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living and foster a sense of social responsibility. We are an equal opportunity service provider.
Our membership is 80,000 strong from across Chester County. While our programs and facilities are always based on the unique needs and interests of our communities, our YMCAs have one thing in common: our people. The volunteers, staff, members and donors of the Y are all united by a deep commitment to strengthening Chester County.
To ensure that everyone in our community can participate in Y programs, our volunteers raise funds for the Annual Campaign. The funds raised go directly back to our neighbors through YMCA Financial Assistance and subsidized programming.
