Supports team as technical resource in all queries.</p><p><b>Essential Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Provides direction for engineering and technical personnel (Test Engineering, Final Assembly, ICT, Tester Assembly, RTA, team members) in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment.</li><li>Ensures integration of test equipment into fully integrated automatic test equipment.</li><li>Oversees product qualification and manufacturing test plan development and solutions.</li><li>Generates detailed product qualification test plans based on internal/external specifications.</li><li>Coordinates with functional managers and customers/partners to ensure on time completion of deliverables.</li><li>Directs calibration of instruments, equipment and control devises required to test, telemeter, record and reduce test data. Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.</li><li>Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.</li><li>Confers with engineering for example product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation considering such factors as conditions under which test was conducted and instrumentation, procedures and phase of test used to obtain and record data.</li><li>Composes and reviews technical reports consisting of data collected and observations during test.</li><li>Maintains project test schedules and monitor progress against the project schedules; and plans accordingly.</li><li>Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by engineering and management personnel.</li><li>Oversees equipment builds <i>(building automated systems to test multiple devices in a given time to test product on a high volume basis).</i></li><li>Oversees testing of  <span>PCB Boards/Switch Testing</span> physical parameters <i>(examples: light intensity, leak testers, spectrometers)</i></li><li>Utilizes computer assisted engineering software and equipment.</li><li>Supports / Implements the ISO14001 Environmental Policy as it pertains to work activities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience</b>: 5&#43; years’ Management experience</p><p></p><p><b>Education</b>: Bachelor’s Degree</p><p></p><p><b>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</b></p><ul><li>Automotive Industry  (Preferred not required)</li><li>Technical skills (solutions source for <span>ICT and RTA equipment</span> and Test Engineering activities)</li><li>Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing</li><li>Strong technical skills</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent management skills combined with strong written / verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong knowledge of <span>System Level Test</span>, <span>Board Level Test</span>, and Integration Level (specialties working together) to ensure final test equipment is viable in all areas</li><li>Reunite the Board level and Functional Test level together (Final Tester)</li><li>Well versed on different technologies and educated on ‘next generation’ technologies</li></ul><p><b>Scope of Supervision</b>: 20-25 Employees</p><p><b>Travel Required</b>: Negligible</p><p><b>Physical Demand (Special Considerations): </b>While performing the duties of this job, the employee consistently is required to use hands to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
