Great at first but failures of management caused many to get canned suddenly

Mismanagement led them to blow everything up and start over a couple of months ago, unceremoniously dumping a large number of workers without warning. There are no annual raises for contract workers; asking for even a small raise will get one terminated. They've shown that they don't really care about people, which is probably a contributing factor in their continuous cycle of near-failure and restructuring. When you consistently mismanage things and treat people poorly, you cannot be successful.

Exciting opportunity for people who want to have a direct influence on the company you work for. I've worked for both startups and large corporations in the past that have left me feeling like I don't really have much of an impact or influence on company with how it operates and it's success. So, if you are looking for an opportunity to be able to leave your fingerprints on a business that is actually looking to help people change and improve their lives than this could be a really great fit for you. The company has worked hard to reset and build a healthy work environment in last year and in the time I've been here I can honestly say I have a great relationship with the entire team, and that goes all the way up to the CEO, who I work with on a a daily basis. From my first day, he's always gone out of his way to get me included, hear my input, and collaborate on things even ranging outside of my direct job scope. Like I mentioned before having my voice heard is my favorite aspect of this job, and I see it throughout the company in how everyone works together. All in all it's a tight nit group that has a good balance of enjoying being around each other but knowing when to dial in and get things done. As far as compensation and benefits, I'd say its on par with the market value for the majority of companies I came across in my search, and ended up getting the high end of the range that was in the job description, so I have no complaints there. Also there are a few fun bonus perks in the office like a weekly team lunch, snacks, game nights etc.

Like any startup or new company there are growing pains, things change, people learn and figure out better ways to do things. So if you crave structure or a rigid idea of what your job might look like on a day to day basis, it might require a bit of flexibility. It's a job that requires a good work ethic, if you're looking for an easy gig that you can just check out of and coast its probably not going to work out very well. The hours can be long from time to time but it's no different than any other fast moving company.
