The company talks a lot about diversity and inclusion, but doesn’t educate themselves or hold management accountable when a direct report needs accommodation and/or feels discriminated against.
Take note of which employees are hourly vs. salary and recognize that hourly gets in trouble with HR if they don’t log precise hours, so higher management tells us to stop working at 40 hours...which sometimes means we can’t complete the task that week unless they approve overtime which most management does not approve. It’s a lose-lose situation since hourly employees want to succeed and complete the task, but not empowered to be paid for it without consequence.

Each business unit/office is its own fiefdom, so experience and opportunities hinge on whims of local leader; established playbook and little wiggle room for creativity/outside-box thinking; development/investment decisions are ultimately made by HQ, who don't always understand the nuances of local markets/deals; culturally, a bit too formal and stodgy; tied at hip to CBRE, which alienates other brokerages and limits deal flow
