Made some very great friends while in office, bagel Fridays, no real food in the break room - but lots of candy and crappy snacks. The HR dept is phenomenal. Where do I begin? The product is old, terrible, and barely works, but you have to cover that up when speaking to clients. When it breaks, you just don't tell them. There are no pay raises...ever. Do not believe the CEO or CRO when they tell you there will be. No diversity in leadership - led by 7 white men who all think very similarly. Don't be deceived by the marketing awards - they mean absolutely nothing. Why haven't you won an award for best place to work....ever? Product cycle is weak. Everyone would get psyched during SKO about the new products launching. 2 months later, those products are no longer viable, and we've moved on. Marchex is famous for starting something, waiting way too long to work on it, and then moving on. So everything you were taught at SKO is done and gone. Every single person who built the original product has left, and never left instructions on how to fix code if something breaks. When all the tenured people go, who will help the clients that haven't moved to the new (not improved AT ALL) UI?
