The company advertises employee as the biggest asset and work/life balance however it is not. In order to take time off you should expect to work additional time before and after while already working a 50+ hours a week. Emails and texts before and after work hours. Managers are told to have their laptop with them day and night including vacations. Salary increases are less than the cost of living increase. The formula used is based on tenure not merit. Yearly increase to insurance premiums and United Way contributions (which is heavily pushed on everyone) eat up the annual increase leaving you making the same or less than prior year. Company talks about diversity and inclusion without truly investing in it at the higher levels of the company. Annual engagement survey is a joke and not really anonymous.

Allow managers to go take time off without calling on them to work. Implement a no contact policy when someone is scheduled off. Staff appropriately to allow for a 40 hour work week with overtime only at month end, budget season, or year end. Update the annual salary process to include a merit based increase in addition to the cost of living increase. Get serious about diversity and inclusion.
