Some good talented People, good culture but ever changing management/managers - Redundancies all the time! Poor MD.

Good people within the company, good location, good goals, good talent within some departments, Good brand, Great infrastructure. Good values. Hard workers. Well performing brand as a whole.

Ever changing management leaders . People rarely do the work they are employed to do. Redundancies all the time, Makes the people anxious. Divisions are not in sync. Plans change too much too fast, Making it hard to get to an outcome and wasting a lotttt of money then having to downsize-vicious cycle and they don't learn from it.

Read the cons and do something about it. Don't rush to make decisions to change them again in a few months at the cost of your people. Communicate clearly to your people and what they will be doing over the following 6 months at least. Recycle your people (genuinely) instead of making people redundant all the time like at Catch and One Digital recently. Your reputation is getting linked to redundancies at the cost of the company brand being tarnished. Hire people who have demonstrated leadership skills/experience as opposed to consultants who never had to be a part of a business before, Retain your good people instead of splurging on contractors after making teams redundant just to cut cost FOR NOW. Think long term, You also have a responsibility towards the people you employ and the Australian community. Else your pledge to making the life of Australians better does not stand. Also-might be a good idea to employ more mature and experienced people to manage your people side of the business. Not first time managers with barely a few years experience to manage the most important side of any business. The people are the business. The people are always the most important asset, You have talented dedicated people working for you, Appreciate it and make the best use of it. Start by getting better leaders who actually lead as opposed to manage only to tick boxes.
