Lack of work all through this company. Each department rotates going home every day. If not two departments gong home at the same time. You will never receive unemployment. You either PTO or VTO. Which is not fair to the employees, because lack of work. Way too relaxed! Your department get a group bonus every month. But, only 3-4 people within the department who, worked hard actually deserves the bonus. Work is taken away from all the lazy people. While the lazy employees do everything besides work. You must be friends and full of drama to survive at Luxottica. This Job is perfect high school graduates. If, no thoughts of college. You will have to be invested 7-10 years and up, at this job. To really consider staying here!

In a small, stand-alone store, the Store Manager holds a relatively unchecked dictatorship with the expectation that every employee function in the same way the Manager did when they were learning. There is zero flexibility nor understanding for diverse learning processes or time frames. Learning is completed through video lessons with the expectation that after being told how to do something once, you need to get it perfect every time after or else you're costing the company money.

Understand that stress in the work place generates invisible hostility that results in inefficiency in the work place. Your staff cannot function effectively if they're stressed by your presence. If the numbers show that your staff has better days with higher productivity when you're not present, then you might be the problem. Stress in the work place causes mistakes.
