Consumer Reports top-rated tires
|
I read a Consumer Reports article that placed these tires at the top of all the tires they tested. Fantastic tread design that melds art with engineering. Very quiet at all speeds. Buy them at COSTCO, where balancing and mounting are free and they use 100% Nitrogen rather than air to fill.

A Fantastic Tire! So glad I chose these.
|
I bought these in November 2023 for GMC 1500 2 wd... Before these I had 250 lbs sand bags in back and was hydroplaning on damp streets and figured I would get nowhere in snow or ice.
Had snow and ice a col weeks ago and I had absolutely no problem even going up steep icy driveway about 100 yards.
The ride is fabulous.
I just may keep them on year round!

Great ride! Low Noise!
|
Second set I’ve purchased. First set still performs very well after three years and 50k miles on a Highlander. This set replaced Bridgestones which came new on the RX350. Those were noisy and did not ride well from day one. These CrossClimates are amazing and made the vehicle ride and sound sooo much better.

Smooth ride
|
Got these Michelin Defender LTX M/s2 tires to go our family's 2019 Toyota Sequoia. We were running on a different brand of tires but will have to admit that these tires give us quite a comfortable ride! They don't look quite as rugged as ones we've had but if these will last as long as they're rated for them I'll be more than happy.

So smooth & quality is superb!
|
These tires are great, they ride so so good and make our small town roads feel like they don’t have a pothole every mile. They are seriously great quality and I plan on them lasting a while for me. Thick, not dense & they look really good also! My husband is now purchasing these for his own truck he likes them so much! My SUV is in the shop currently with some recall getting that taken care of, so don’t have a picture of them on my car..BUT I highly recommend

Great street tires, good wear when used correctly
|
I have had mine for three years, 2019 GS. Reading all these reviews just don't make sense to me. I put 15k on them and yes I'm looking for another set for this summer. I don't track the car but I do drive it harder in the turns. FYI, I've been involved with racing for 35 years. New factory performance cars seldom have a good alignment for street driving. I had my car realigned by a shop that has a racing background. I took the toe out of the front and checked the back. The car tracks better and has better tire wear. I had an Italian car with 600 HP and got 5000 miles off of those tires. I felt lucky., so stop complaining or maybe change your driving habits.

Great durability even in areas the tire is not specified for!

I bought these tires in April of 2023 and it is now February of 2024 and I have put around 36000 miles on these tires. I have them on a 2022 ford F-250 limited and I feel the truck handles better with these tires, we farm and the truck is required to run through mud/dirt/gravel quite often and they are worked very hard, the warranty is till 60,000 miles but however mine are practically bald already and I understand that they are worked and used in ways they are not really designed for, but I love them and will continue to buy this tire as Long as I can!

Poor wear life, all other characteristics are satisfied. Here are the details: Bought a new set of PA4 at Costco tire on Nov 19,2022. Only equipped this tire during the winter time (From end of November to end of March). So until today, this tire has total mileage of 10200, roughly 70% highway, 30% local drive. Both front tires have depth less than 3/32 (based on my measure), while both rear tires have roughly 6/32. Car is 2020 Mercedes-AMG C63S sedan, RWD, tire size is 245 front, 265 rear. Everything is stock. I understand the warrenty will be in half for the car like this but the wear rate for front tires are way too much. Tried to call the customer service but the auto reply suggets me to find a authorized Michelin shop and do an inspection. I went to the same Costco, where I bought the tire, their Michelin authorized technician firstly try to play around the mileage game with me, saying maybe I equip the winter tire during summer time and some other non-sense stuff. I show him my personal service log and then he started to measure the exact depth. So based on what he measured(which written on Costco Final Invoice), LF has 3/32, RF has 2/32. He says only RF is qualified for 5000 mileage warrenty, becasue of the car, it has half of the warrenty number(30k) and deduct my used 10k. LF is not qualified. He described how this warrenty works, I need to buy a new same tire and warrenty will cover roughly $110.00. I asked him what about the LF, he says he doesn't care. I am shocked... I cannot imagine the braking balance on a new tire on RF and meanwhile, the LR only has 3/32 on a rainy day. This is not the experience I expected from a brand I've been used for almost a decade. From ealier Primacy to PS4AS, then PSS mixed with PA4. I am even considering try the PS4S for the summer. I would like to get official response on this from Michelin. Thanks.

I bought our Lexus RX350 from a Lexus Dealer and have returned to Lexus for all service. 30,000 mile oil change I was informed my tires were close to the wear indicators and would need to be replaced soon. I thought there is no way the tires need to be replaced, they were selling tires.
We drive from 4,000 to 10,000 miles a year so when I checked the tires I was shocked to find they were close to the wear indicators just like the dealer had indicated. I checked Michelin's web site for replacement tires and found the Premier LTX tires have many customer complaints that their tires had worn out from 20,000 to 35,000. These tires have a 60,0000 mile warranty.
I've bought Michelin tires for years, but this makes me doubt their quality, and Lexus has put them on all their new cars of this time frame and for sure I won't be buying Premier LTX tires!
