-OK Medical benefits.
-Free gas.
-When you put all the work aside, people are quite friendly.
-Not many pros
|
-Lazy and unmotivated staff (you can call it Work-Life-Balance like everyone else does): many seniors are almost at the age of retirement. They will give you all the tasks and provide minimum support. They do not want to learn new things and request you to in charge the whole new concept on your own. When you cannot achieve the almost impossible goal, you will get judged by the seniors. They do not scold you in person, but would mentally drain you.
-Studdorn and selfish co-workers: most of them have been working for their entire life in this org. Therefore, they will not listen to u and they only care about themselves. They sometimes give you useless advice too.
-Disrespect: they treat you like a kid here coz u are a little younger than them. No transparency at all coz you are not worthy enough.
-Budget cutdown: they will never lay you off. But they will think of every way to cut the budget.
-Very low salary: they offer the lowest compensation package among the industry and you have to act to be grateful to them too. The Boss literally said to me that my salary was very good and identical to a promotion. But in fact, my salary was the same as others and very low when it is compared to the market.
-Unfairness and extremely slow promotion: salary may not represent your hard work. People who work less will receive the same amount of money as the people who work more. So why even bother? You have to work at least 2 years to get a grade promotion. Then, on average you would need around 4 years to get promoted to a newer title.
-Outdated management style: very typical Hong Kong style. Say Yes to everything the management decides. I wonder if they are still stuck in the 1990s. Sometimes you have to praise your boss and attend some meaningless events.
-Nontransferable skills: things you learn here do not benefit you. Boring and repetitive tasks.
-Gossips: they talk a lot about personal life. Way too much.
-Very few AL
-Must provide DR's notes for SL
-Relatively ancient environment: depends on which floor u work on. Chairs are broken, PCs are slow, ...
