Excellent talent has left the company due to in proper training, poor support and lack of growth. For example we had 2 graduates and 1 excellent sales person (which was rare)1 stopped the graduate programme and 1 left due to no progression and the sales person left for growth. Santova doesn't really know what to do as they have a flat structure and management are focused on short term goals due to their transactional mindset. Lack of experienced senior management and executives - Job for life - No job pressure from management - Small company so you know difference offices - Company bonus - Culture - Low salaries - Limited progression - Poor execution of company strategy - Lack of experienced management - Poor IT systems -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 3.0 3.0 4.0 1.0 3.0 2.0 4.0 1042969 Open Problem with management is that over the last few years the company has had many ideas and promote a 'entrepreneurial' mentality but management have no idea how to execute and mask this by using buzzwords like agile, change etc but in reality it's just poor execution as nothing ever follows through. Many good people in the company have left due to poor strategy and promised opportunities that never develop. Santova as a firm find it difficult to grow internally due to poor sales teams and hiring the wrong people so they tend to buy companies as they don't have the experience to do it themselves. They invest in their people with regular training, and for grads, in particular, pay for an accredited logistics course (ideal for non-logistics graduates who wish to stay in the industry at the end of the programme). For the grad programme, they check in on a regular basis to assess your development and give you feedback. Typically, you get responsibility, and your own clients, very early on. The gossip in the office I worked in can be a bit in-your-face and distasteful. I doubt the same is true for some of the other offices. In the department I worked in, I had to fight for work early in my time there.
