- ArenaNet management understands that "life happens" and is really cool with circumstances that might be rough elsewhere.
- Fully remote work is actually possible... as long as you live within a handful of approved states.

- The company had a mass layoff in Feb 2023. Org changes were implemented, but weirdly never made official by announcement or HR documentation. Want to have a boss who's never once emailed or spoken directly to you? How about a boss who's never approved a single one of your PTO requests? At NCSOFT, you can have this.
- HR enjoys conducting training sessions for management. They hate answering tough questions though, and will never provide guidance on how to deal with pushback from employees when the official policy might have obvious holes in it.
- NCSOFT is a publicly traded company in South Korea, but not the United States. As an American, your total compensation at NCSOFT will likely not be competitive vs. other large game developers.
