We are currently seeking a Materials Associate to join our dynamic team in Clarksville, TN as part of the Materials Team!
The Materials Associate manages all material functions from the flow of materials, supplier through production to customer. The Bilingual Materials Associate is responsible for minimum inventory investments, minimum transportation costs and efficient plant material operations. The Bilingual Materials Associate also directs and coordinates the application, implementation, and activities of the Company’s ERP system.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the material flow process.
Establish and maintain supplier release procedure and supplier banking requirements to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials to meet production requirements.
Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on-time compliance to customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs.
Review department/plant measurables (customer delivery, supplier delivery, premium freight and inventory) and establish corrective measures for performance adherence.
Provide leadership to subordinates for individual and group development.
Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2 ~ 4 week inventory levels, at a minimum
Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory
Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
Achievement of daily, monthly and annual team targets
Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget
Aligns Innovation team to forecast and reduces labor expense, forecasts, tracks and escalates as necessary
Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment and establishes and monitors compliance activities to support the safety program
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
Some occasional international travel required

Summary
The Manager, Production Engineering is responsible for the design and installation of the production system and the optimization of production system through LCA (Low Cost Automation).
Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, or diagrams
Plan the flow of work or materials to maximize efficiency
Modify equipment or processes to improve resource or cost efficiency
Develop or conduct quality control tests to ensure consistent production quality
Prepare layouts of machinery or equipment, using drafting equipment or computer-aided design (CAD) software
Prepare schedules for equipment use or routine maintenance
Develop computerized diagnostic tools to integrate measurements in real time and reduce production downtime
Integrate high-speed loops and advanced control algorithms with graphical system designs to improve the efficiency of production operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required
7+ years experiences in manufacturing - preferably Home Appliances
Prior experience with CAD Software and MS Office Suite required

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance

Conducts technical diagnosis and performs specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts

1 year minimum experience repairing major appliances (laundry, cooking)
Experience repairing refrigeration/sealed systems preferred
Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment
Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues
Valid Driver’s license in good standing
Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification within 30 days of hire
Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Description:
We are looking for a contract Field Test Engineer who can help us test the infotainment system and telematics connected services for our tier 1 clients. We’re a growing team at the forefront of delivering a high quality infotainment module for North America within LG. We need you to help us deliver a great quality product to our tier 1 client and help our development team with feature implementation.
Responsibilities:
Test of In Vehicle Infotainment system functions like Navigation, App. Connect, Media, Radio and Speech Recognition.
Test of Online Service linked to OEM’s backend server like online media, internet/hybrid radio, online navigation etc.
Defect reporting and retesting new software.
Software re-flashing/update support at OEM local office.
Initial issue analysis and proper documentation work.
Field testing support including vehicle rework for test environment setup.
Report daily progress of testing activities and updates.
Test case creation and modification to existing test cases based on North American market to include the border scenarios and newly implemented features.
Orchestrate local as well domestic field test drives to validate the infotainment system in different real time scenarios.
Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Master's degree with 0 - 1 year of experience.
System testing experience.
Capable to make cable harness manually for component integration.
Manual Infotainment or Telematics test experience highly preferred (i.e. Radio, Navigation, Telematics)
Must be fluent in English language (spoken/written)
Able to make presentations on statistics of error status and test plans with MS Office SW.
Positive and proactive attitude for any support or communication with Korea HQ and customer’s.
Maintain consistency in working and legal work permit for at least 2 years.
Able to take business trips to other state’s or countries (two weeks at a time, 3 to 4 times per year).
Have No DMV violation record for driving test vehicle.
Ability to work in an agile environment.
Ability to learn quickly the cutting edge technology in the field of Infotainment.
Nice to have:
Automotive testing experience - business trip, vehicle test/driving/test car setup, maintenance.
Test vehicle retrofit/rework experienced test engineer.
Plus - In-vehicle cable harness conversion/modification experience.
Plus - Volkswagen or German car maintenance experience (preferred).
Plus – Automotive experience in test/implement vehicle components e.g. infotainment and/or Telematics.
Plus – Comprehension, written and spoken Korean language skills
Experience with JIRA.

Position Summary
Investment Director/Senior Director
LG is seeking an Investment Director/Senior Director (level currently being reviewed) to work at North America Innovation Center (NAIC). Reporting to the Head of NAIC, this position will play a key role in unlocking LG’s growth and will work on identifying candidates for investment based on NAIC’s “outside-in” innovation process, and collaborate with NAIC’s EIRs (Entrepreneur-In-Residence) and external partners to develop business cases. The position will also be responsible for initial due-diligence of candidates for investment and assist them to pitch the cases to both internal and external investors. This position will also be responsible for establishing a coalition of external co-investors that will partner with NAIC’s innovation process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Identify promising startups and investment candidates and bring them into NAIC’s “outside-in” innovation process for potential investment.
Collaborate with NAIC’s EIRs (Entrepreneur-In-Residence), internal stakeholders, and external participants in the NAIC’s innovation process to develop investment cases by LG and external investors.
Establish a coalition of external strategic or financial co-investors such as global technology companies and venture capitals that will partner with NAIC’s innovation process.
Lead initial due-diligence of selected candidates for investment
Support selected candidates to pitch their cases to both internal and external investors.
Support deal process, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, due diligence, closing & integration activities.
Key qualifications:
BS in engineering or business/economics or related field.
12+ years’ experience in corporate VC or venture/IB firms, working across large cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making; strong attention to detail and delivery
Broad and deep knowledge of venture investment landscape
Existing relationships and connections with major venture capital firms, corporate VCs, and other forms of funding partners.
Ability to motivate and mobilize investment community and funders to build consensus on shared opportunities
Experience in leading due diligence and equity investment or M&A.
Fluency in English is must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Broad understanding of technology around SW, HW, cloud, and System engineering.
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis
Entrepreneurial mindset with bias for action in highly ambiguous environments – enjoys making sense of white space
Preferences:
Familiarity with venture financing mechanism and valuation models
Experience in product management, product marketing, corporate strategy or management consulting is a plus
Master or MBA
Experience in a startup is a plus.
Location
This position will be located in California. Travel may be up to 10~20%

Your role as a Sr. Account Manager requires you to work closely with sales/Sales engineer teams of both LG Electronics and our partners to identify, develop and close opportunities in the virtual desktop market.
Responsibilities;
Implement strategies to expand LG's market share with small-large regional accounts within an assigned territory
Understand each end-user’s business and be able to map the technical requirements to the appropriate LG Electronics solutions.
Create business plans to plan for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets
Participate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with regular and periodic tracking and reporting
Provide regular and timely observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting
Manage forecast accuracy and align with Product Management
Manage channel and LG inventory levels for optimization
Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth

Job Requirements:
BA/BS or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in managed desktop solution with a proven track record of results;
Experience in Cloud computing technologies i.e. AWS, VMware
Experience with Thin and Zero Client hardware sales
Strong relationship builder
Outstanding communications skills
Solid business acumen and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance and account P&L.
Knowledge of Desktop Virtualization
Experience in technical sales with excellent presentation skills and strong customer relationship building skills.
A desire to keep up to date with new technology and training

POSITION SUMMARY:
LG Direct Mobile Service Technicians (DMSTs), are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while servicing our products in the home. Our full line technicians diagnose and repair all major appliances, TVs and A/C units, manage inventory and perform a number of other administrative tasks on a daily basis. Our technicians are the face of LG and will be expected to represent the company with the professionalism our customers have come to expect.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance
Proper use of all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG
Conducts technical diagnosis and performs specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts
Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job
Pre-screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problem prior to arriving at customer's home
Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1 year experience repairing major appliances (Laundry, cooking or cleaning products)
Refrigeration, sealed systems experience preferred
Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment
Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues
Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification within 30 days of hire
Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
