I left the company because after 16 months, I was still spending a lot of my time doing exactly what I was originally hired to do. Therefore, I did not grow much in my position. My opinion is that working in a tech company, you should never feel comfortable and should always be growing your skills. Management here really sees no problem with providing zero career enrichment and allowing the junior staff to stagnate. My advice is to spend your free time learning new skills and find a better position as soon as possible. There's no point waiting around for your supervisors at Ascential to do anything for you. They are working us to our bones in covid, making us in fear that 100 other people can get our job. Colleagues work into the night nearly every day, and senior management pretend they do not notice. I have been here for a year and they only hire young graduates who will work like a slave.
