spoken down to all the time, your expected to stay over 2 mins each day to answer whatever calls are left in the que but they do not give you that time back unless its past 25 mins, it started at 15 mins then moved to 20 and by the time i left it was 25 so by now it could be 30 mins before you get anything back! the managers are by far the worst ive ever came across i was told to work on my ACCENT! which made me so angry i needed to go home for the remaining day! as if you dont like my accent then dont hire local people simple as, this was reported to HR nothing happened, you are constantly spoken down to, looked down on and made to feel dumb when asking a question, there style of leaning is stuck in the 1980's along with most of the staff there because you will be told they all started the company together, if you have a question they will make you look really stupid by not answering and saying what would you do! if i knew what to do i wouldn't be asking!!! they don't take mental health seriously at all to a point several people walked out because of this, one gentlemen in particular hated it that much he cried nearly ever day and they did absolutely nothing to help him, you very quickly realise your nothing to them you are a number and can be easily replaced thats why there are always jobs going at OSB, when i started for them it was charter court finances, i would avoid this place like the plague believe me when i say this is by far the worst company to work for and you will last a few months tops.

learn how to speak to staff not just treat them like crap, remove the stick from you backsides you are no better than anyone and when the company goes under just remember if you were nicely to people it could of been avoided, worst bunch of managers ive ever had who all think they are god like characters!

I can quite honestly say this was the worst 3 years of my IT career to date. Deep rooted toxicity issues in the form of a cliques, unprofessionalism, lies and deceitfulness.
HR/Management were fully aware of the bullying, intimidation etc but chose to close the door.
Talented professionals forced out of their roles just for being too knowledgeable or for simply highlighting profound issues with critical decisions made by existing staff.
Promotions of talentless, poorly trained staff, predominantly as a result of departmental nepotism.

As highlighted by another former member of staff on here, identify the bully's and ring leaders and remove them.
Stop recruiting friends of Employees, Managers and Directors.
Clamp down on physical relationships between staff on all levels.

I really loved the team and the people who I was working with. Everyone is very smart properly selected during the recruitment process. I liked that I could learn and expose myself to different things and receive help always when necessary.

I can't think of any at the moment. Maybe I wish that people worked more from home but now that's definitely going to change.

None that I can think of as I've worked at better places and this place came highly recommended to me so you can imagine my disappointment😔

Horrible environment with rude management who don't give you the time of day. Don't like talking and treated like children when do so as get a slap on your hand or receive a petty email. The majority of Team leaders are youngsters and yes people with no skills or experience and only want people to work for them who will just do as they are told, little or no chance of progression unless your face fits and when it comes to internal roles they already know who they want for the position. First opportunity and I'm out of here and would not recommend to anyone. No wonder so many including high level management have left or are leaving 😝

People who work there are lovely, we are mainly a family unit.
|
We were taken over exactly a year ago, which they described as 'Merging'. Our Original CEO has now left, along with all the original directors. Everything has changed and the Bank we have been taken over by has a completely different work culture. If we didn't feel like numbers to the company before, we definitely do now, with a number of redundancies.

Great between 2014 and 2017, easily best place I had worked and best time of my career.

Last 6 months possibly worst of my career, bullying, lies, being pushed and forced out, having people not fit to interview for my staff doing it and recruitting behind my back, proven I was right long term to not give them a job as they left and proced to be useless, some vindication I guess, but overall the last 6 months were horrific, HR had reports of bullying and did nothing, poor company these days its a shame.

Clean out the dross,identify cliques ring leaders and bullys and remove them, dont take on staff because they are friends especially when not fit or capable. I would have recommended this place to anyone and everyone in 2017, but Jan 2018 onwards i wouldnt have wished it on my worst enemy.
