Terrible childish management
|
Half of managers can barely speak a word of English which is ridiculous, they're like bullies to decent employees. Agency staff gets treated really bad, also pay is pathetic, doesn't meet the cost of living. Giving out cost of living bonuses to full timers but agency get nothing. A lot of colleagues are friendly but the overall working environment is awful due to a lot of people creating drama and acting like school children and the management won't do anything about it. Never again lol

After 11 and a half months on the agency was told I could not go for a job there but the supervisors son will get a job after only beening the 2 and a half months he had still not even done his 12 weeks with the agency and I was trained on every thing with some of the best rates on shift and the guy could not hit a target to save his life and by the look of it did not even want to be there not and good place if you are not in with the right people I would not go there I would never go back

Employ youngsters, let them go before probation ends, employ more.

My teenager worked here at 17. Started well, good pay, good perks. They were excited and felt part of something and was keen to progress. 2 months in and the phone calls to not not come in started due to lack of work, yet when they did go in there was a group of 20 new starters.
1 week short of probation and they called my teenager in and told them and another colleague they had 3 strikes and were being let go. 1 strike for being off with a broken limb, despite offering to do light duties but advised to stay home, no mention this is a strike. Strike 2 for being 2 mins late back to a station from break (we accept this but no warning of strike 2). Strike 3 as he entered a zone without safety shoes and was asked to put them on, he simply forgot (Again accepted but no mention of strike 3). How can a young teen learning work ethics, adjust their behaviour if nobody is leading them to inform them of the strikes. Then dismiss them on the spot and march them past their peers on exit.
All seems a bit planned. Get young kids in, start to lay off towards the end of probation due to no work but employ more, then sack them to save employing full time.
You should be utterly ashamed of yourself. You are just jading young people away from work. How about educating them. You have to accept this is their first working experience and mistakes will be made. If extreme, then fair enough, but these excuses were pathetic and planned.

Good job, nice friendly people. I was given training for each area I worked, and was placed in different areas for each shift which helped it not be as repetitive.

A great company to work for

Started on the agency then got a permant job after 3 months. I've worked in the warehouse for 15 years and the company have supported me through some difficult times.
Lots of company benefits such as sick pay and health insurance.
I look forward to going to work as the people are friendly and you get treated with respect.

Benefits, part time or full time hours available, friendly co- workers, radio on every day.

Some heavy lifting involved but not every day, Can be a bit boring doing the same tasks most of the time.
