Start recognizing the underdog that is going above & beyond your expectations. Those that aren't saying look at me. Make sure your managers are doing their jobs & not shopping while on company time, being best friends with those on their team. You can be friendly, but need to be fair to everyone that you are overseeing. Upper management, make sure your hiring team is actually hiring people that are good for the company to continue growing.
