Okay place to work

Working here can be quite rewarding, but the fact that we have to work 12 hours a week, including cleaning, classes, and customer service, and then have to give all the money we earned by doing this plus an extra £30+ just to be allowed to train clients that we must also source ourselves, is a bit outrageous to me. There are no opportunities for overtime, nor any option to just work as a gym instructor and not have to pay rent to train clients. Having said that, if business is good, you can make a good income. It's just a shame there are not more opportunities to make money actually working for the company.

Good place for beginners

Only 12 hours worked as a Fitness Instructor and all week self employed PT.You pay rent which is equal to you salary, but good to work as a pt if you can pick up too much clients.

Absolutely no support, who you work with is make or break. The company takes any opportunity to screw you over, and it has a very high turnover rate for a reason.

Great place to work but the gym rent is crippling
|
The team is great and the members are fun and motivated. The targets are a little over ambitious and there is an unhealthy work ethic in trying to achieve them. All of this would be worth it though if we were paid at least minimum wage and half our salary isn’t taken from us each month to cover gym rent. Because of the gym rent it is hard to make ends meet even though we’re working 18+ hours a week.

Great place to get experience as well as work hours instead of paying rent. Long term poor as you end up giving away alot of your training tips for free in classes.

Can be great depending on the days/ times you work. Shifts can be good for picking up clients. However if there aren’t many people, there isn’t much to do on shift.

Great management within the gym

The management were great and very supportive. Great start to my career in sport and increased my confidence massively. Was a shame to leave due to lack of hours avaliable.

You have freedom to train your clients when and how you want. The shifts fly by with classes and member interactions. Your prices are yours to decide and can be changed whenever you like. You need to find your own clients but if you’re confident and passionate the clients come to you. You can take home up to 4k per month once you’ve built a name for yourself with hours that suit you.
