Management out of state are clueless

Working with great employees and plant managers but corporate and higher ups have no idea what is done to make their big bucks. They just hire you and fire you for having an opinion no matter how right you are and wrong they are, just happy to be away from that dangerous environment.
|
84 hour weeks. No appreciation for hard work. Scheduled raises once a year instead of based on performance and work ethic increasing production and overall performance at work. If you’re curious why they pay decent but have a higher turnover rate than anywhere else around, work here a couple weeks.

Don’t hold reputations as cold hearted corporate D bags. Maybe corporate should come do the plant work and maybe they’d show more appreciation and better pay rates. Because it’s a hazardous job hazard pay.

Work is engaging for anyone interested in chemistry. Opportunity to get relevant work experience. Given opportunities to work on unique projects, which employees often have the opportunity to give input.

Unhealthy work environment. Employees work around highly dangerous chemicals such as methyl iodide on a daily basis. Safeguards implemented for health/safety are not proportional to level of danger inherent to these substances.
Poor management of managers.

Do not treat workers with respect, is not a safe place to work, do not listen to advice given by most tenured employees on what works and what doesn't and would rather rely on corporate management that sit behind a desk thousands of miles away and have not worked a day in the field or have never even visted the job site once to make major decisions that affect overall production of the plant, will jump at the chance to either not fulfill promises or to screw employees over every chance they get like demote you for no reason and then don't even have the decency to explain why

When you have employees that have worked for Iofina for awhile and have produced beyond expectations given the precarious situations that you put them in, don't demote them without cause and not give them an explanation as to why they no longer hold that position. It's a bad look for everybody involved.
