Sadly a great company that lacks organisation great at tick boxing exercises.Forgets that the business isn't just about building apartments,they sell to a certain age group that expects more clarity from accounts and customer service.
Poor communication,senior management clueless as to the challenges of front line staff.Money making builders who just lack integrity and house managers deal with the fall out from home owners.Dont work for them!

Terrible management and no support
|
Highly stressful as you have no back up or support from management. Repairs and issues including major leaks not dealt with . They donât care and you are left on your own to face the angry residents . You are also called out 24/7 and ARE are expected to attend . It is soul destroying and the role is under paid considering the responsibility you have .
If you want to be reduced to tears , be highly stressed , shouted at and have no work life balance then this is the job for you ! Good luck your going to need it .

Help my eldery.is something indoor as though I am on autopilot, my old team are an excellent support, I have a temp manager is tries to support us but it's a large area to cover. All in all a good job but not a great company due to unsuccessful and unnecessary changes.

MS is going through lots of changes at the moment creating collateral damage in the process, staff are leaving at a high rate leaving the development staff to cover an unhealthy amount of shifts, not a very supportive environment and even more so now as the new â opsâ managers have quite a few developments to oversee. I find this at times can be unsafe. I was hoping to have a real future with this company but the way staff are treated left me to seek alternative. Lots of newly recruited senior staff leaving also and that just says a lot. I know that a lot of the staff are worried about all these things happening and donât feel very secure or are just completely overwhelmed with extra hours needed to be worked. One more thing I would say here is there is no support at all if you have any mental health issues, they talk the talk and state itâs there until you actually really need to support - I had some terrible things happen with homeowners and not supported with the issues. Some of the homeowners are really lovely while others can be extremely rude and aggressive but then not surprised when they are not getting the expensive lifestyle they are âsoldâ . Good luck if you do decide to work here in any role.

Higher management think they understand the role of their front line staff, but have no idea of the reality of their everyday tasks. Without the hard work and dedication, and staff always going above and beyond, there would be no McCarthy Stone. There is no set induction, each trainer has their own training plan. There are not enough hours in the day to do your job.

I had a good interview for the job position and was given my days and times at the interview for when I started.
However, when I was given my start date and a different time start of 07.30 I was slightly angry as I had explained that early starts were not any good for me due to health reasons. I had handed my notice in and was leaving but then had to retract my notice due to the hours being changed from the days and times given. I Could not take the position
Offered. It would have been an amazing idea place to work in. However I have heard from friends who had worked with the manager at another place of work who gave me negative advice.

Lots of opportunities to improve with a learning programmes to help you be the best you can be. Great working conditions beautifully clean environment. It can be a bit slow at times but it gives you the opportunity to improve your sales and marketing skills. The best days are when our buyers are moving into their new home.
