Lots of very talented employees were let go and people have just been promoted from within without much experience. Marketing performance dwarfed by the likes of CTM and GoCo who invest much more. Not a great place to learn as the team is very inexperienced. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 5.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 33122 Open Hire some experience and stop saving money by promoting from within. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Open Apr 22nd, 2024 07:12AM Apr 22nd, 2024 07:12AM MoneySuperMarket.com Consumer Services Media
lon:mony https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=33122 Apr 15th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Moneysupermarket Group London, England Great place to work, especially if you are ambitious... I really enjoyed my time at MSM. It was challenging at times, but then so was every other company I have worked for! That's how it should be and If you are ambitious, and do the right things to get noticed then opportunities will follow. I can think of lots of people that have progressed really well within the business. They will go on to have great careers and will no doubt look back at their time at MSM as being a major factor in that. The vast majority of the people are great to work with. The offices and benefits are great and they really get behind their staff - much more so than other places I have worked. I think there is so much going on in the business (it's activities are very broad as you might expect) that it is sometimes difficult to get a true sense of importance and priority. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 33122 Open Make sure the initiatives that are identified as key are widely understood and such and constantly re-enforced 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Open Apr 18th, 2024 05:03AM Apr 18th, 2024 05:03AM MoneySuperMarket.com Consumer Services Media

lon:mony https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=33122 Apr 8th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Moneysupermarket Group Marketing London, England Good if you are not ambitious Very chilled place to work, great offices, people are mostly nice and reasonable. Great if you have a family and aren't trying to progress your career. CEO has been decimating the workforce in recent years which has meant lots of talent (paid well employees) have left and the ones that stay are typically not very strong (paid not so well employees) at what they do. Some people actually get stressed and work late/weekends but I think they are just acting or inept because this place is so chilled. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 2.0 5.0 2.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 3.0 33122 Open Tooooo many commercial and project managers who do nothing except add pressure to people who actually do work. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Open Apr 11th, 2024 05:07AM Apr 11th, 2024 05:07AM MoneySuperMarket.com Consumer Services Media

lon:mony https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=33122 Feb 29th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Moneysupermarket Group Mixed bag People are generally very nice and friendly. Good social aspect, nice offices and lots of focus on trying to make it a pleasant place to work. CEO is very friendly and accessible, takes time to walk round and talk to all levels of the business rather than staying in a glass box like in other large corporates. Regular company updates on performance and initiatives with a range of speakers from around the company not just the top brass taking credit for the hard work of others which is good to see them allowing people to present their own work. Quite a few people struggle with mental health as a result of working here. Someone else has said it's not a stressful place which is great for them but it exemplifies the belittlement of the business and some people in it that the pressure they put people under is huge. They've cut a lot of resource from almost everywhere in the business except developers and want to do more, more quickly. They just keep overloading people until the point where they break, either with stress or by leaving, after which they just pile that person's workload on top of someone else. There's been some brain drain of people leaving the business lately and it feels like those that are here are looking for a way out, which is generally the main topic of conversation in private. Feels like the business will chase share price improvement at any cost, including their staff. I get that it's a PLC and we were regularly told the shareholders were pension funds but it's not nice watching people so stressed and burnt out. I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone that I cared about, but it does look good on your CV. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 3.0 2.0 3.0 3.0 4.0 3.0 4.0 33122 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Open Mar 2nd, 2024 06:38AM Mar 2nd, 2024 06:38AM MoneySuperMarket.com Consumer Services Media

Frequent socials. Okay benefits. Mid-high market pay. Chance to advance. CTO is smart and actually a techy. Tech stack is decent and getting better. lon:mony https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=33122 Feb 8th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Moneysupermarket Group Employee Good mission but ambition outweighs capability Nice offices and good socials. For the large part, employees are trying their hardest and are trying to do the right thing Loyalty to the group means nothing - when they’re done with you, you’re out. Repeated denials there’s cost cutting happening but people are removed from roles and leavers not backfilled, with the expectation the already very overworked workforce pick up even more workload, as expectations of what can be delivered don’t alter with reduced headcount. Exec don’t listen to the SLT, SLT don’t listen to employees, it’s always just a push to get things done. No one is saying no to anything if there isn’t capacity to do it, plans are created and thrown out regularly for one of the Exec’s latest pet project that’ll make them look better than their peers on the Exec. It’s clear they don’t really get along. -1.0 NEGATIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 3.0 2.0 3.0 3.0 4.0 2.0 5.0 33122 Open Be honest you’re removing cost and difficult people from the business and trying to do more with less to support the share price.
