Learn a lot but heavy workload
|
It's a good job to learn from but the role is constantly expanding and you are expected to keep up with new tasks with little training, no salary increase and manage existing work load. No career progression for branch staff.

Great if you fit in.

Training was the best part, everyone is nice to you whilst you're training. To be honest, your coworkers are great, it's the management that are the worst. Being told you can't have certain holidays as it's the policy, only for certain coworkers to be allowed to have them off is a joke. Back handed and sarcastic comments are a daily occurrence and even happens in front of customers. At the branch I currently work in, I'm discriminated against simply because I'm the only guy there. Was once told to come to my manager for anything, only to have what I said used against me to portray me as negative. Overall not a good environment to work in.
