It will be interesting to see how this organisation adapts to any kind of credible threat to their core business over the next few years. Currently they are riding high in a monopoly position where there is really no choice for estate agents but to subscribe to their services, it's just a question of how much they invest. This may sound great but with double digit price rises year on year for the most basic packages this creates poor sentiment and often gets in the way of creating value for a customer which is hard to swallow if you have come from organisations where flexibility and added value can be used to drive commercial growth and create goodwill. Sales people leave this business because of burn out and because they are worn down by 'difficult' customer interactions, some of which can be genuinely aggressive, insulting and unprofessional.
Stock feedback when people leave the business is often 'well, Rightmove isn't for everyone' and 'we have a feedback culture' both of which are great when you are the market leader and can afford to be arrogant.
This business needs to evolve and modernise but this will only happen when there's a viable alternative to their services and they start to lose market share. They will tell you they are a great place to work and quote company engagement survey stats but if you are considering joining any sales teams in this organisation invest in a thicker than thick skin. If you would naturally describe yourself as resilient be prepared to dial this up considerably

Invest more in initial induction training for your sales staff. One people development member of staff is just not enough and whilst they are talented they are streched far too thinly and you have a single point of risk here. Your Area Director team have to wear far too many hats and they can't possibly deliver sales, feedback, strategy, recruitment and induction support all at once and to the high degree you demand.
Stop the complacency and arrogance, deliver more value and give your customers more flexibility.
