Robert Walters Nederland is an another foreign, British recruitment company in the Netherlands, whose consultants are unprofessional, biased and self interest driven. Robert Walters Nederland is biased, not transparent, and only goal for them to make money for the parent company in the UK and for themselves. They are not looking the interest of the candidates, only for their client. I've been having bad experiences for many years with Robert Walters Nederland, and finally I am writing my review. I do not like to write negativity about a company, or someone, but Robert Walters Nederland consultants (which are quite a big number of individuals) behavior and approach must be known for other candidates as well. Here is the list of reasons to avoid them: 1. Robert Walters Nederland often published assignments in Dutch, whereas they were for English-speaking candidates for international companies. Like this they are intentionally selecting only the domestic - Dutch candidates and the English speaking ones are left out. (Unknown to RW NL, this was checked out by directly contacting some of the companies!) 2. Robert Walters Nederland consultants do not reply to emails, or if they do, they send you a generic one. They simply don't bother. 3. They cannot be, or most of the time is difficult to reach them; their mobiles are on voicemail, or simply refuse your call. 4. When calling the fix numbers at the Amsterdam, or at other Dutch offices, their refuse to introduce themselves, but asking for the callers name, and like this they're making selection to accept your call or not! 5. Once you manage to talk to a consultant, they are arrogant, rude, unprofessional, do not give you time nor chance to show them you are the right candidate. Visible they are making you feel you depend on them! 6. Robert Walters Nederland also practices ‘preferential candidates’, and the rest of the candidates don’t have a chance, despite being fit for the role (this was also tested!). 7. Robert Walters Nederland consultants communication style is extremely poor. They do not even check out the CV and asking trivial questions, whereas all the info is in the CV. They just don't bother to read your CV. 8. Robert Walters Nederland is not transparent, stating one, doing another. i.e. for permanent role they refuse the client name, industry, but asking you to have an experience. This is used to play double standards and reasoning to eliminate you. 9. For freelance, they pushing you for the lowest possible rate, despite the assignment is know for a hourly rate. Like this they are doing everything to get the maximum earning from an assignment. This is a general and common practice at Robert Walters Nederland. 10. Segregation is also visibly present, through the conversation, i.e. several consultants laughed when an English word was not correctly pronounced; or, you could hear their arrogant corrected replies. This was also confirmed from other my fellow friends who talked to them, and who speak at least 4 languages. I did not laugh to Robert Walters Nederland consultants when they spoke a poor Dutch, I gave them respect, but I did not receive any back. Overall, Robert Walters Nederland head-hunter company does not deserve you, the majority consultants treating you as a second class citizen and are very arrogant and biased. Robert Walters Nederland does not deserve to be present in the Netherlands. As we, the candidates, have also our network, we continuously advising other candidates and companies about our experiences and to contact other Dutch head-hunter firms, who are professionally, humanly light-years ahead from Robert Walters Nederland. Gostaria de poder fazer minha avaliação mesmo sabendo das chances dela ser excluída como todas as anteriores feitas por ex funcionários. A cultura da empresa só existe para mostrarem no onboarding e para vender a empresa. Na prática, você não tem liberdade nem autonomia para trabalhar. Liderança amadora, despreparada e que rouba seus créditos em qualquer oportunidade, plano de carreira inexistente. Infelizmente a empresa perdeu completamente o foco nos princípios fundamentais que antes existiam. Agora, todas as decisões são tomadas exclusivamente com o intuito de maximizar os lucros, mesmo indo contra todos os valores da empresa. É comum tudo mudar de uma hora pra outra, o planejamento e plano de carreira baseado em metas, amanhã cai por terra e tem que começar tudo de novo. Do nada vem decisões top down, mudam tudo e se você não está seguindo feliz "vestindo a camisa da empresa" é desligado de uma hora pra outra. Uma consultoria de RH que não possui um RH local. Managers will tell people that they aren't worth anything. KPIs are set very high (minimum of 10 interviews with candidates and 5 meetings with possible new clients per week), and managers will tell employees that if their KPIs are missing then their salary should also be missing. People hide in the bathroom to have anxiety attacks, and in general people stay only up to 9 months.
