Your salary is half basic half for flying, so for holidays or sick leave you dont get much.
Double standards are quite common, they ask you to go "the extra mile" while you get no help even when they would be legally bound to d osomething for you. (ex. explanation of local taxation)
Contracting is always an issue, you are in the grey. Depending on your AOC (UK, Hungary, Malta, Or Abu-Dzhabi) and based on your country you might pay significantly taxes resulting in huge pay gaps and tension.
Many times you are being worked to the maximum. Your private life will depend hugely on what base you get, commuting etc.
Talking about bases there are some awful ones that everyone tries to avoid.
There are plenty of internal policies and rules to follow, except when the company decides to neglect their own rules for their benefit. However, you make a single mistake and you will quickly find out that some managers are keen to provide an example on your expense. Except if you are friends with someone in high management, then you are basically untouchable.
It is very hard to follow the company affairs. Communication is rare and heavily moderated. Any question that is inconvenient will not be answered, "We will look into it and get back to you" is the most common shake off.
The list goes on unfortunately, the more you stay the more problems you will see and the more you will suffer.

No work life balance
Management have little people skills and do not treat you fairly or with respect.
Policies are highly restrictive, making it impossible to be sick, or fatigued, without financial penalisation.
There are a lot of unprofessional actions that are not managed properly by senior management, and at times encouraged.
Hygiene of the aircrafts is poor, with food often being in dubious edible condition.
To achieve seniority in the company, you have to allow them to take advantage of you with illegal and unfair rostering, invasion of your days off, limited taken days of your annual leave entitlement and policies over the board that treat you without respect as a professional: any question of these often leave you as a junior cabin attendant with no future career prospects.
Wage and pay structure is shocking.
Organisation of the company is horrendous, with you often being left clueless as to what you have to do on certain matters.
Extremely hostile to trade unions, with trade union members being demonised and degraded in character by senior management and the CEO himself.
