As a member of staff at a young's pub you will be entitled to free food after you have worked more than 5 hours (although if you know the kitchen staff and the managers are cool with it, this minimum hours precedent doesn't really matter). I have always been given my rota a week in advance so its not difficult to plan things for the next week. 20% off all food and drink in a young's pub when you aren't working (pretty sure it only applies to the pub you work in). Minimum wage pay, and the managers that aren't on a yearly salary don't earn much more than that, so there is little incentive to remain and move up the chain. Some Young's Pubs will have a dry house policy (not a massive issues but still).
