Speaking to exec team wasn't unobtainable. Lots of social events. Going to other offices never felt awkward and you were always welcome. Severe lack of progression, but I guess that's the way with a small ish company. Wages are not that good for the industry average. Makes you feel ungrateful for leaving or asking for more money because you should just be happy to work there. 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 3.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 923373 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 9.0 Open Feb 8th, 2024 07:34AM Feb 8th, 2024 07:34AM Zoopla

Good benefits and nice working environment. Nice office with free snacks and breakfast. Great people. A lot of changes in the business which can feel unsettling. lon:zpla https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=923373 Dec 20th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Houseful Software Engineering A Mixed Bag, Strong Leadership Significantly Lacking A decent array of benefits, *some* areas of the org have strong technical strategies, generally quite a blameless culture. Mostly flexible in teams. Flexibility to choose where you best fit into the org. Some very knowledgeable peers. Decent efforts in DE&I. Salary for most is a bit below industry standard for roles, bonus is also very weak especially with the stricter criteria Silverlake introduced. There are also instances of significantly underpaid employees. Managers are a mixed bag with some being unacceptably poor (others are exceptional!) although training is helping here slightly. Leadership over the past two years have been abysmal and its such a shame given an otherwise positive direction in which the company was headed; some recent new leaders may yet help here. Extroverts may get incorrectly promoted here over introverts which has caused some issues. The technical strategy for some areas of the org is non-existent, some areas also have a serious issue with "senior engineering" not having a clue. The return to office is a farce; a lot of employees don't observe the 2 day rule because it doesn't work for them and their teams. Office-time can make sense and hybrid working is generally a good thing, but being communicated as "I as senior leadership come in" is woefully ignorant to the diversity of roles within the org. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 3.0 3.0 4.0 2.0 3.0 2.0 4.0 923373 Open Work with your mid-level leaders in the org; its amazing to me that you wouldn't work with them to deploy a hybrid working approach based on what works for teams instead of forcing arbitrary rules which don't make sense. I love the office, but this isn't the way. This is obvious to so many but you missed it dictating the changes. Don't try pulling the wool over employee's eyes; there is a balance to be had where optimism is good but blatant false pretenses are unacceptable (e.g. VIP). Focus on ensuring both strong technical and product strategies are in place. Product has been held back in the long run SO much in areas where a technical strategy has just never stuck. Also STOP letting areas of the org half-finish projects, so much value is missed and so much technical debt piled up because areas fail to commit; do a project if its valuable enough or don't, too many half measures hurt. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 Open Dec 22nd, 2023 10:16PM Dec 22nd, 2023 10:16PM Zoopla
lon:zpla https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=923373 Nov 27th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Houseful Sales Manager London, England A company with a strong vision Having been with the organisation for a little over 18 years, it is fair to say that one gets to see a lot of change along the way. However, I can now say that with confidence, the future of this business has never looked brighter. Our organisational structure means that we can support the right people in the right roles, and watch them flourish. And as with any business, it is the people at the heart of the organisation that will make it work. Houseful takes great pride in nurturing their people, and thus has formulated a business that people aspire to work in. Against the backdrop of an ever changing property market, we need to remain agile and be prepared to go above and beyond to support the direction and vision of our business. Planning and preparation are key to this business. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 923373 Open Keep working closely with all stakeholders, and they will continue to come on the journey with you. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 9.0 Open Nov 29th, 2023 07:23AM Nov 29th, 2023 07:23AM Zoopla

There is generally a supportive and collaborative environment to work in There is a lot of activity on the next strategy that will win the day. The next great bold re-imagining. This results in a lot of restructuring of teams and priorities which in turn makes it difficult for anyone to achieve long term goals 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 4.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 923373 Open Get buy-in across the business on a strategy.
