Disappointing experience

I like the work and truly believe in the product. Training the accounts is exciting and enjoyable.
|
Part timers are treated as having no value unless you cover for a franchise while they’re having a holiday party or dinner you’re not invited to. My experience has been incredibly disappointing. I’m not seen as a part of the team. There is absolutely no communication from anyone in management and no opportunities for growth. Some people make it out of this position and move on to full time, but many of us will never be given the opportunity. Hard work, dedication, flexibility and enthusiasm is not rewarded nor recognized unless you fit into whatever mold it is they’re looking for.

Stop pretending that the PTCC role is a stepping stone to learning the full time role better. We are not exposed to anything that would allow us to develop skills in sales. Abiomed is missing out on some amazing talent and pushing away people who truly understand the product and endorse it from actual experience.
