What is the best part of working at the company?
None… getting up in the middle of the night for a $20 an hour job? Disgusting company.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The people, the management, not the patients.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Horrible. No one cares about anything but money.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get to work at 5 am only to be abused by staff, who are mostly in recovery themselves.

Supervisors did not follow state protocol and showed favoritism. Toxic work environment. No training and low pay
Please patients could fail drug screens with no consequences. Upper management was not supportive to staff concerns and failed to provide proper supervision. High turnover and an overall feeling of desperation

What You Make of It
|
The job itself is not hard, but it all is what you make of it. Training was minimal. The days can get chaotic but you can try and do what’s best for the patients. Typically either the patients or staff yell at you, so it’s hard to win.

The best part about working for Acadia are the benefits.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part about working for Acadia is things change rapidly. There maybe a set of rules or ways we do things today and tomorrow is changes and then change again.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
At the location I worked in the beginning I felt bullied, miss treated and disrespected by the staff who worked there before I started. Then, things became better with some resistance to change.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day consist of opening the clinic, engaging with the patients, attending meetings, and making sure the clinic ran smoothly.

The department I work in is not used network wide,so this is an opportunity to create something new within the mental Healthcare field. It has been exciting to specialize in security instead of working in a hospital environment where security is thought of as an after thought.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Creating policies for a security department that's brand new.

Acadia being so young in the area it's amazing to learn that we have teamwork throughout the hospital. Clinical down to housekeeping we communicate and treat each other with respect

Right now,busy....this specific facility was highly needed in the area. So my day is 8 hours of being on the move.

Only good part is working with the kids. Management is terrible. Acadia Healthcare is only out to make their dollar. They don’t care about the kids.
Management sleeps with their subordinates. Staff don’t know boundaries with the children. The pay is terrible.
