Adtran prides itself on having found it's original success by trailing behind other companies learning from their mistakes. They now use this motto to justify decades of delay and/or lack of innovation in both their tech and their company processes and culture. There appears to be a strong bias toward their AL base and the entrenched management team, legacy products, and legacy teams. New blood, and new ideas didn't seem to last long. Many rounds of downsizing/layoffs over the last 6 years from their misses.

I had a fulfilling experience at Adtran. The work offered both gratification and complexity, constantly keeping me engaged. The colleagues I collaborated with were exceptional, consistently providing valuable assistance. The campus and facilities were impressive, contributing to a pleasant work environment. While I genuinely appreciated my time at Adtran, I ultimately decided to explore other opportunities due to a more lucrative offer from a different employer.
