Highest turnover I have ever seen
|
During my time at Agenus, I didn't receive any sort of training until I had been there almost 6 months. I received no feedback at all (good or bad). Over the course of 9 months, they had at least 4 strings of layoffs in my department alone. One year after my start date, almost every person I worked with there has now left, either due to layoff or leaving due to too much work or fear of layoff.
Working remotely, I had no contact with others except in meetings or short huddles used entirely for business purposes. The other remote jobs I had still contained significant contact with others, but this one you were pretty much solo. I guess for some introverts it might be likeable.

I met some of the smartest people while working at Agenus. The team leaders at the company are intelligent driven leaders. The executive management needs attention since the company just went through a 25% reduction.

I would never recommend this to anyone. The goals are unrealistic and stressful. One might need to work 24x7 to achieve all of it. No support from managers. Toxic work culture.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone I know. Very toxic, top heavy management, micro-managing, and very cut throat. People in management that don't know how to manage. Senior management doesn't plan timelines and just dictate unrealistic goals, so everyone is scrambling to try to meet them, and the goals change before you get a chance to focus on achievement. Medical Director has no oncology or industry experience, and management makes it impossible for cross-functionality team work.
