It did help me pass the CPA exam, but there was absolutely no room for growth or advancement. I never received a salary increase (even the cost of living) and the "bonus" was a joke. There were no reviews ever, so you have no idea how you're doing unless someone from management tells you. There was not really any background given when I started. I was shown how to do my recs but never got information about the methodology behind it. The upper management was very knowledgeable about everything in the company, but they never taught me--I was expected to "figure it out". They discouraged questions and if I did ask a question, I usually received a rude or condescending answer. It eventually became a toxic work environment for me. One good thing about the company is that they paid 100% of the health insurance premium (so it wasn't taken out of your paycheck). | Free health insurance, nice building, great location | Bad management, limited opportunity for growth, no raises | 0.0 | 0.0 | 3.0 | 3.0 | 2.0 | 2.0 | 4.0 | 2.0 | Nov 11th, 2020 03:47PM | Nov 11th, 2020 03:47PM | American Capital Agency | Financials | General Financial |
