Machine Operator Dothan, AL USA False Advertising of job titles and positions Allied Motion advertises for general machine operator positions but the work you do is CNC machine operating. CNC machinists make on average $20/hour, Allied only pays $13. Minimal training, the only person who knew how to run the machine I was training on was one man who worked day shift only. The second shift management did NOT know how to operate the machine I was supposed to learn. There is no maintenance personnel on second shift at all. The machinery is extremely outdated. In order to train me they had me come in at 1pm to work with the first shift guy to learn my machine. That was only 1 hour per day of training. Also, they found snakes in the ceiling. So, there's no reason to comment on a place that no longer exists. The hours were good. If they do know, then they are purposely driving company into ground. Bad managers get praise for screwing up production and making customers upset. Losing business daily. Not paying invoices.
