It used to be fun to go to work. Management was amazing. I felt appreciated and valued.

All the pros that I stated above have been erased. I am a hard working employee who really enjoyed my job. Now I hate it here. Upper management has no clue how to treat front line employees. It's all about the pros and the homeowners. Employees are just numbers. Every few months they are re organizing. Pay cuts are the new normal. One of their core values is "do more with less" what a slap in the face. No bonuses for hard work anymore, just jelly of the month club. They had the nerve to send us a used notepad and a pen that didn't work as a "Thank you" for being an Angi employee. This company is a joke.

They post a listing as remote but then tell you two interviews in that it isn't, despite the fact that you CONFIRM its a remote position in the first interview. The job listing is intentionally misleading and its a really bad look for the company.

Fix your job listings that say (remote) or (hybrid) when in reality they are not those things. You are wasting everyone's time by being intentionally misleading and it's a very bad look for this organization.

Leadership used to be amazing - life-changing! That was five years ago. Now just another corporate slop with quarterly returns in and out, stock plummeting, high demand for skilled workers with low pay, and no upward movement. It was very hard to build a career without an MBA or a least know the right people.

What happened? Trust used to be the foundation. Treating people with respect and understanding used to be the norm. Now just spreadsheets, leadership that never asks their employees questions, and sly tactics so that the few get what they want out of the many. Do you want a lifesaver for the stock ticker? Re-invest in your people and less on your bottom line.
