Those who don't will either get stuck or fired. There's lots of opportunities for new reps to improve-you can quickly gain lots of sales experience here. I’ve worked in bad environments. Angi is not one of those. I came from a huge pest control company before.. providing customer service. Absolutely hated my job and dreaded waking up everyday to work and be mad all day all over again. with Angi? Work life balance: incredible. Work the typical 8-5 M-F but we get plenty of PTO, floating holidays, etc and are encouraged to use it. Some companies love to act like they prompt time off but then when you go to use it.. it seems like a hassle. Not at Angi. Many of my coworkers take half days, leave early, come in late, etc multiple times a week. It’s not even a thing having to ask to leave early for something or taking a shorter lunch to leave either. Can’t beat it. Management: my boss rocks. My previous boss was impossible to approach, was beyond rude and didn’t know how to coach without making everything seem like the biggest deal. My current boss at Angi is so encouraging, isn’t afraid to let you know and the whole team how great you/someone else are doing. Is available pretty much immediately for any issues or questions. Really cares about us as people. Gets to know us all as a team and Individuals. Pay: it could be better but so could pay everywhere. We have a nice bonus plan for not really being a sales team. We basically just get people interested then send them to the actual sales people. Hourly could be more but that’ll come with time. But $ isn’t everything.. my mental health is a million times better at Angi; I don’t dread work everyday, I actually enjoy it... worth more than $. Overall: the culture is great. I’ve heard many stories about how awesome working in the office was but even the culture we have all being remote speaks for itself. Hard to communicate with management or get answers fast. Contractors over the years have been more challenging to work with. Driving for sales is tedious and 100% customer satisfaction is difficult even if there's nothing you could've done better. Customer reviews are directed at if we solved their issue and sometimes there wasn't a way to solve their issue. Someone needing a contractor and not having one in their area somehow becomes my problem, not the company so we get bad reviews based on things we cannot control.
