Good people. Upper mgmt lacks guidance
|
Coworkers are great and always willing to help. Executive team is lacking in direction and no vision for company. Doesn’t have a plan to improve net income. Only way they see it can be is to cut costs(layoffs) while not having a plan to increase revenue.

Not a pleasant place to work
|
Company is ran like a dictatorship. People are constantly scared of losing their job. Zero communication between management and employees. Lack of direction with expectations of excellence. Not a place to work if you are wanting to further your career. More like a sweat shop with zero value or respect given to employees. Would not ever recommend.

Internal power struggles
|
There was some internal power struggles that were going on during my time there that made work stressful. It eventually played itself out. From then on out, the work atmosphere was more positive and supportive. There was also a lack of a unified vision when I started there, so it made it hard to execute things. No one, not even top management, seemed to know what the company voice should be. Various stakeholders had their own agendas (which is understandable), but led to contention when trying to work together on projects.
Apparently the company didn't support mixing between departments, which may have been why it felt a bit cliquish at times. But generally most everyone was friendly.
The work/life balance was good, at least in my department. They gave flexibility in terms of start time and taking time off to go to appointments or pick up your kids, as long as you got your work done. My immediate superior and main colleague were supportive, so I felt positive coming into work for the most part. We had free breakfasts on Friday, which was nice.
They had a couple major layoffs, and eventually dissolved much of the staff, so job security is shaky here.
