nasdaq:auto https://www.indeed.com/cmp/autobytel/reviews Mar 11th, 2020 01:30AM Open Open Autobytel Manager Irvine, CA Internal power struggles There was some internal power struggles that were going on during my time there that made work stressful. It eventually played itself out. From then on out, the work atmosphere was more positive and supportive. There was also a lack of a unified vision when I started there, so it made it hard to execute things. No one, not even top management, seemed to know what the company voice should be. Various stakeholders had their own agendas (which is understandable), but led to contention when trying to work together on projects. Apparently the company didn't support mixing between departments, which may have been why it felt a bit cliquish at times. But generally most everyone was friendly. The work/life balance was good, at least in my department. They gave flexibility in terms of start time and taking time off to go to appointments or pick up your kids, as long as you got your work done. My immediate superior and main colleague were supportive, so I felt positive coming into work for the most part. We had free breakfasts on Friday, which was nice. They had a couple major layoffs, and eventually dissolved much of the staff, so job security is shaky here. 0.0 0.0 3.0 4.0 3.0 2.0 4.0 3.0 Feb 20th, 2023 02:19PM Feb 20th, 2023 02:19PM Autobytel
