It was confusion and a mess. I got out because I was overwhelmed with work and my mental health was diminishing. Hours of overtime and no time for family. They didn’t care at all. People were leaving left and right. I felt that the ship was sinking and management had no clue what was going on. I honestly think that they are just waiting to be sold/bought and the executives will their money and run. So I left, best decision ever. Don’t expect an amazing offer salary wise as they are trying to “run lean” or possibly position themselves to be bought/sold. Which has also created staffing issues and increase workload of current employees, animosity, burnout, etc. Almost impossible to take time off and not be critiqued for doing so. Bank has no clear sense of direction. Much of the former staff have left. The replacements barely last a month. Some of the people I worked with were the nicest and fun to be around. I hope it turns around for them. Hybrid work schedule, free coffee, and short commute. Management tries to be supportive. However, they are still in a state of transition from their merger. They do not have enough employees to handle the work. Many people work overtime just to keep up and are still behind. The seasoned staff resent new hires and have no desire to assist because of how stretched they are. There is no work life balance and it is a very much a sink or swim environment. How could a pay period be 3 days? Terrible products with services that barely work or “down for maintenance”. There is no support and they terminated employees fast if you don’t produce within the first 90 days. The products for commercial banking to old school.
