Very frustrating. Appears to be great opportunity to work in a smaller company but it's run like a large bureaucracy.

Allows for 100% remote work from virtually any location.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No conformed process. Silos work independently
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very challenging. It is very important to be on the right team.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meetings from start to finish. No video so talking into screen with participants' names and pictures.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Progressive business model, embraces diversity.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Planned layoffs due to scheduled relocation at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. Extremely stressful 60 days for department. Relocation did not occur, layoff notices were not rescinded. Remote option still in place three years later.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Was exciting and vibrant place starting out. Former MetLife associates still resist BHF ideas.

remote opportunities with low pay
|
It is very stressful environment. I worked way too much 60hrs on average per week, brought up to my manager on multiple occasions but nothing was done. Some areas are slow where people have time for life work balance but our area was super busy not even a time for a quick walk during the day. I wouldn't recommend the place to someone who has family and kids

In my experience, BHF has been very true to it's core values and mission. Leadership is very open and receptive, and committed to being transparent and supportive. My immediate team has been hugely instrumental in my personal and professional growth in the time I've worked here. I'm appropriately challenged, without feeling like I have to sacrifice any amount of time with my family to have the career I want to have. I have been so impressed with how they have managed things the last 2 years and know that employees are appreciated and valued.
