i like being a busser at bjs its a good job co workers are nice and i like the atmosphere im about to complete my training days, you work 5 training days then you goto your regular schedule and start getting tips soo im excited

Good place to work
|
I enjoyed working here. I was self-sufficient and could do my job without too much manager interaction. Sometimes there would be disagreements through the management but would get solved easily. Time off is easily requested through the app and I never had problems getting a personal day. Holidays are a bit difficult to get off because those are the busiest days; but money was worth it.

Was great until new management took over
|
All was really good until new management came in and started implementing their own rules. Kitchen was always dirty. Gm would go have outburst in the walk in cooler. Hope they shape up was a good place to work for

What is the best part of working at the company?
Not much sorry to say,they train ever well.but it could just be the manager there .I get along great with everyone and they are the ones training you and then are just wigging it to because they are all know also.so that's why I give them a 3

The manager, she never has time to talk to you

It is great .I love the people that come in and my crew team is wonderful people.The company is a great place to work for though

They will over work you if you are good at your job. Management will dangle advancement opportunities until you make too much to keep you. Most employees are high, lazy, and underpaid. The employees that work hard are overworked. Any effort will be taken for granted. If you are a favorite they will pay you under the table in gift cards worth hundreds of dollars. You have to look a certain way to be a favorite.

Fast paced, fun atmosphere....sometimes very stressful

I love working at BJs. My co workers and guests are so amazing to work with. I had to leave the company for awhile due to health issues I was having. I reapplied a year later and they are taking me back, and are happy to give me a second chance. It does get hectic, but if you keep your cool it all is fine

Although I didn't work here long the people were cool and generally nice to work with. Pay is average, and tips for take out are basically nonexistent but you can usually move up pretty quickly.
